In today's world, almost everyone has a social media account. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have almost 4 billion online active users per month combining (and I haven't even mentioned many others like Reddit, LinkedIn, WhatsApp —yes, it's a social media platform—, Snapchat, etc.). Publishing your quizzes on social media will elevate your business with no doubt but you must use this power correctly. You have to make research to find your respondents. But you don't need to worry because there are dozens of techniques to help you grab your audience's attention.
Let me share some of them with you;
TITLE IS IMPORTANT!
Selecting a title that is enchanting is crucial. Your title is the first thing your respondent gives a reaction so it has to be perfect. %80 of people decide whether they read your content or not just based off of its title. Some keywords helps you get much more attention such as; "actually", "which?", "every", "only" and many others.
To simply explain, the word "actually" and "which" invokes curiosity while "every" and "only" makes you feel part of a group (me too effect).
CRAFT YOUR OUTCOMES CAREFULLY
When you build your quiz you will map questions to the outcomes. You should decide your outcomes before creating your questions in order to stay relevant to what information you actually want from your respondents. This way you will get the details to segment your customers appropriately.
CREATE APPEALING QUESTIONS
After you decided to your title and built your outcomes next step is creating questions. You have to ask the right and captivating questions to not lose the interest of your respondent. Too long questions and quizzes with too many questions bore people so you have to keep it simple as much as you can.
The main reason why you use quizzes is to get personal information. Ask relevant and interesting questions to your audience so you can divide your customers into segments according to their answers and give your respondents a more personalized, satisfying experience while becoming more successful in your business.
DESIGN OF YOUR QUIZ
Visuals are important. Try to find beautiful and fitting images that makes your respondents happy. Avoid eye-straining colors and pictures. This way your quiz would be more memorable and worth sharing also your respondent would leave more satisfied.
TRY TO INCLUDE INCENTIVES
Even if your audience is making a fair trade of contact information for quiz results, offering incentives to them gives them an additional reason to opt-in. This could be a free e-book or some discounts on your products.
GIVE THEM RESULTS THAT ARE WORTH SHARING
Social media is all about sharing(duh!). People share their happy memories, good or bad experiences, animals, etc. In order to collect leads, you have to be one of those good experiences that makes people want to smash their like and share buttons.
